Lidocaine Viscous 2% (Lidocaine Hydrochloride Oral Topical Solution USP) contains lidocaine hydrochloride, which is chemically designated as acetamide, 2-(diethylamino)-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-, monohydrochloride, and has the following structural formula.
